Lovecraft Restaurant & Bar East Village NYC Review

Lovecraft Restaurant & Bar East Village NYC Review 13
The Lovecraft Restaurant & Bar located in trending Alphabet City is artwork in a deldritch interiored eclectic space designed by artist Benjamin Enzfelder including a gallery of literary works modeled from writer horror fiction author H.P. Lovecraft. The Lovecraft Restaurant & Bar recently launched a new Brunch/Dinner Menu created by Executive Chef Chris Coleman born in Panama with Jamaican roots from Food Network’s chopped Champion.  Since arriving in the US Chris has worked as a Chef in well known NYC restaurants such as Petaluma, a private Chef In Long Island NY and Executive Chef at Chris Coleman Catering with numerous awards and memberships within the cooking industry including The American Culinary Federation, The World Association of Chefs Societies and The James Beard Award. Chris’s  cuisine specialties are in fusion, seafood and specially prepared meats that stem from his broad background and experience culminating in fresh, new and pleasing palette choices.  I had the moist and meaty Chesapeake Bay Maryland Crab Cakes, tasty Organic Grilled marinated Pork Chop with porlanta/asparagus sides, 10 oz Steak Skirt thick & nicely marinated with Grilled vegetables/fingerling sides and classic caramelized/vanilla bean Creme Brulee.
The mixologists at Lovecraft also play with the palette not forgetting to provide a good spirited cocktail from the Tequila inspired Dropse to the Absinthe and Gin laden London Fog and  $3.00 off Drink specials 4-8pm  The eclectic Lovecraft Restaurant & Bar offers fine food, good times and charming music.
