Accomodations have multi category rooms that range from Junior Suites to Preferred Club presidential Suite Villas with elegant tropical decor, flat screen tv’s, lux  bathroom amenities, in-room liquor dispensers, mini bars and swimout pools.

Guests that are part of the Preferred Club have their own concierge service and outside preferred section conveniently located with private pool, first grade service, poolside menu or seated breakfast, lunch, snacks and complimentary pool floats.

The nightlife is fantastic with 7 specialty restaurants, nightly buffet and a different themed show every night of the week. I especially enjoyed the Sensual performance and the Himitsu and Oceana restaurants were my favorites. If you choose to have a quiet night in your suite; room service is available at no charge. I enjoyed ordering food & drinks from 1 of the restaurant’s for a romantic dinner set up for 2 on my terrace.

Want to do more on the property? Scuba diving and snorkeling equipment are available to rent. Off property excursions and tours are available to book in the main lobby. There are 3 nearby golf courses to choose from including the Punta Espada considered #1 course in the Caribbean and Mexico. When you’re part of the Premium package you can book all activities with your butler at the premium lobby.

JetBlue is  my favorite way to go. I enjoyed my flight to the Dominican Republic hassle free and on time. The courteous staff, extra space / legroom, low lighting and upgraded air purifying system made for an easy sleep environment. Well rested I enjoyed complimentary wifi, snacks, drinks and a reasonably priced meal along with  the newest movies; all making my flight feel shorter.
