The Circle Line BBQ & Brews 1 hour dockside and 2 hour sun/fun cruise is the latest of Circle line cruises leaving from Pier 83 West 42^nd street and 12^th avenue. Let’s first talk about the history of Circle Line and how it’s been a significant part of the NYC harbor since 1945 hosting over 60 million passengers on their cruises earning them world-wide recognition as one of the best boat rides in the world. Circle Line received Awarded proclamations from two New York City mayors – Ed Koch proclaimed April 23^rd “Circle Line Day” In 1985, and Mike Bloomberg, proclaimed Sept. 17^th “Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise Day” in 2008. A fact not very known is in 2001 Circle Line vessels helped transport victims of the Sept 11^th attack back to New Jersey.
